Love the place and have collected several thousand boxes from that one hill alone. So many features up there and every one has many boxes off it.

Hi Claire, yes I do and I was very sad to hear about Hazel. I had no idea until I read your post. I use to see John and Hazel at the Wednesday waffle. Hazel didn't fequent it so much as John, but it was always a laugh when Hazel visited. I've shared a cup of tea with them at the house and I think I ...

One area that I have seen a lot of adders is down below Cuckoo Rock, Combeshead and Down Tor. Haytor is pretty good as well. April/May is a good time to see them whe...

Who Makes Your Stamps?

I am hoping to get some new stamps designed for the summer and I have lost contact with my old stamp makers. I belive K&K have not been heard of for ages. I have heard of Tandy Stamps but what I have heard is conflicting. I am looking for a stamp that doesn't break down to early. Any ideas?

Maybe you are not aware that there are just as many letterboxes to be found in the New Forest and yes there are letterboxes on Bodmin Moor. In fact t...

Hello From The Tailchaser

Hi all, I have been letterboxing since 1987. I have placed many catalogue and WOM boxes [ mostly ] on the moor. I have had a little break from the boxing, but got back into it during the summer.
