Yeah, I was going to plug my site, but I haven't sorted the frames out properly yet. That link above ( actually, this one: http://www.davebellamy.co.uk/views/CarParks.asp - no space (and on editing, I see that TWA has corrected it!)) will take you direct to my Google Map with car parks marked. Clcik...

Former member of 1st Chudleigh Scouts here! Looking at the age bands I would have moved up from Cubs in 1987. One of the leaders during that time was a local Chudleigh Police officer by the name of Bob Bigland. I also remember Bill Rendell and his son Alex who were really into their letterboxing and...

Nice idea WITC... I like it, even if I do seem to be the only one here who does!

I will be reading with interest.

On a related note. Along with the above renaming of a familiar feature, I recommend that in this DIGITAL age we should all call the giant aerial on N Hessary: 'The Mast Formally Known As The TV Mast'. North Hessary Tor transmitter broadcasts digital TV, but nominally only to Princetown. In practise...

I forget the exact number of years, but any OS map from the 40s or before will be out of copyright, so there will probably be no issue there.
For an online, and very slick alternative, go here:

I have the same right to express my view as do the rest. Here we go again. No-one is questioning your "right" to express your opinion Gemma, so stop bleating on about it! 3). That it discriminates against the less mobile....Well you cant drive to the top of Cosdon, should we be providing ...

Well that's a complete downer. I just got back 10 minutes ago from a week in Scotland and thought I would check my emails quickly. Wish I hadn't now :( Well done and thank you for trying though Maureen. It will be interesting to test the definition of "off-road disabled buggies". I can't s...

I know some folk will not be able to get there, sad but that is unfortuatly the way of life. Absolutely shocking. There but for the grace of god go I, eh Gemma? Your point, as tired and as laboured as it now seems, is not actually at odds with anything that has been said here. Although... yes we ac...
