Whilst out doing this winters Brentor Church Charity Walk came across a Abbots Way - Wheatear stamp. According to the book this was sited in April 1997 and only had 4 stamp finds in it -May 1997, 2 in Aug 14 & 1 Sept 14. Since it has the first 1997 stamp in it assume this is still the first book and finds are genuine? As there were no contact details i have been unable to contact the owner to confirm this.
Anyway out of interest i was wondering other boxes fellow letterboxers have come across that seem to have been out there for years but rarely come across.
