DIZZY SERIES – DON’T PLAY WITH THE PONIES! Missing!

Post by Dizzy »

Hi all, just to let you know we checked on all my Dizzy boxes just a little away from Bonehill Rocks and to find that one of the stamps is missing. The box and book was there but the stamp has sadly gone into someones pocket. It's possible a letterboxer has put it in their bag by mistake as all my other boxes around there are intact.
I might replace this box next Spring, let's get the bad winter out of the way first as many boxes get badly damaged over this period with the elements we can all expect from the moors.
I've emailed the letterboxing club so this goes into the updates.

This box is:
DIZZY SERIES – DON’T PLAY WITH THE PONIES! 73352 77168
Under a flat seat shaped rock roughly 6ft x 4ft. Widecombe Church 259°. H.P of Bonehill Rocks 330°. Windswept hawthorn 295°.

Also I've noticed that not many people have visted my handcut tutorial I did for this website, he is getting a little lonely out there! Email me for the clue.

I've not walked that area yet - maybe one time over the winter months i'll venture out that way.

Sorry to hear your stamp has gone.

Really sorry to hear stamps has gone missing. We were fortunate to find it in the summer.

A really lovely humorous design - glad you're going to replace it. Would love to get a series of these...

That would be great if you could, someone could easily put it into their bag by mistake, I hate to admit it but I have done this once but did return it the same day.

Yes they are, but Crafty Jo and myself will be making a WOM set of stamps (12) after the New Year which we have already designed, they are lovely detailed images, the subject will remain a secret but definately Dartmoor based. We will pass on the clues to selected persons only after sighting these on the moors, but this may not be until early Spring.
