fog down to our knees

Post by UniS »

The Uni Family went for a little walk on Sunday, Another exploration of the clitter around Row Tor combined with a WOM walk ( Thank you Helga). The Fog was down to our knees but one could still see the clitter close at hand and under the rocks even if I did finish off killing my waterproof trews and get a damp back side. Thanks to the wonders of GPS and 10 fig grid clues we did complete the walk, no views at all but the treasure hunt element of the walk was satisfying enough.

None of you will have seen us, the fog was too low for that, but you might have heard the boy singing as he walked or complaining about the pond in his boot.

A good day out. only 102 to go for our 500 badge.
Wheres it to ?

I love walks like that, and the GPS adds a massive level of reassurance when you have no reference points for map reading.

The atmosphere and alone-ness is wonderful.
