I found a stamp depicting a pilot with AIR SCOUT printed under it.
The notes i made on the day reads "Mobile Butcher John & Sylvia Sharp"
Has anyone got the Catalogue number for this?
Could it be a mobile box : 14234 Butcher on the moor?
Just trying to tidy up my collection, adding numbers to any stamps that don't have any .... thank you :D

Hi Nesty Crew,
I think the stamp is one of a series of 100 stamps put out by the Mobile Butcher to celebrate 100 Years Of Scouting. It was a Word of Mouth box and, according to the owners, all boxes were taken in. Obviously not!
If they're still out, then I will continue to look for the few I need to complete the set.

Thanks for getting back to me with the information, it was of help.... plus i love to hear about the reasoning/stories behind boxes etc
I found the stamp back in May last year. It was around the Roos Tor/ Great Staple Tor area.
Interesting that the owners thought they had collected them in :)
