Hello All
Can anyone tell me the number of 'Ray Bennington' Lt.Colonel, Dept Commandant.
Stamp very good condition..... but book is soggy!!!

Cannot give you a precise answer, this belongs to a set called Personalities DACF - Devon Army Cadet Force.
We collected most of these back in 1999 but never recorded the name of the stamp's subject, just the series number and it's calalogue number.
Do you have its series number ?

Oops !
Just discovered an old data base file with all Personalities names.
Ray Bennington was DACF no.11 and his Catalogue was No.25622. Picked him up in Grid.62-69 back on 6th August 2000.

That's the chap! Considering he's been out all this time, he's doing rather well! Friends on our walk actually found him, on their first letterboxing outing! So a rather good find all round. They were thrilled to get a hand made one, and one that was so superbly done!
