we found a stamp with Chinese writing on not far from the Pew Tor 'south quarry' and near to curried letterboxer 31 location.
Does a box count if you can see it but could not get to it to 'stamp up' from it, as there is one just south of the above in the side of a pit 6x6 (line of three trees) which is full of water and there is a floating box in the side of the pit wall
and finally
Are the coords for Moor Mouse right, we stumbled across Moor Mice in the description location but the grid refs way off at a lone boulder. quite strange.
If you go for moor mouse take your machette to get past the over hanging gorse bushes

I know Pew Tor reasonably well and I remember the south quarry, was watching a pony bathing in it a couple of months ago.
Even though you can site the box but unable to get access to it, I doubt you will be able to claim it as part of your collection seeing as you cannot obtain a copy of it.
Must be frustrating though, "it's there!" But not quite in reach!
I can't remember finding the Chinese stamp or Moor Mouse, so so many boxes up there.......... I will have to go back and keep looking me thinks!

Boxes are not supposed to be sited in walls and must NOT be sited in DANGEROUS positions and should be accessable to all and sundry.

Hi Number 70,
We found a stamp in this location that matches your description. We have it logged as an unregistered box called Chris & Betty's box. I don't know if this is the same box it was found last May and is about 30mmx26mm.

The tide had gone out and we revisited this box last week.
I am glad I did not wade through the dank murky water or lay face down in the horse/sheep poo to retrieve this box cos we found it about five years ago.
