Hi All,

We found 3 boxes in and around Black tor, High Willhays and Yes Tor but I can find no references in the catalogue.

They were -

1. The Saxon Chief - nice stamp in an ammo box - High Willhays

2. Tormato No.4 Black Tor

3. One with 2 small square stamps of a flower and a star...this one was in a poor state as the lid was loose and the contents very wet. Yes Tor, I think.

Any information?

Sorry Dave have only been out that way once and that was many years ago. I'm sure one of the others may know although the last one sounds like it may be a touristy box?

If it was a touristy box it was a long way from home

Obviously on a holiday. :D

But perhaps as it's a bit the worse for wear - it should be pointed in the right direction back home to the plastic city!

Well, it's a long way up to Yes tor, isn't it? Perhaps, having put it there, they can't face the climb to do the maintenance :)

You're probably right - maybe just a shop bought one then - unless, of course, it is enjoying a holiday ... lol

Hi,

the Tormato No. 4 box was probably the continuation of a catalogue series. No. 1 - Scarey Tor, Cat No. 20937, No. 2 - Winter Tor Cat No. 23938 and No. 3 - Homerton Hill Cat No. 25648, all deleted now. As for the others, haven't a clue!
