Dartmoor Wildlife Park

Hi did anyone see the programme Dartmoor Wildlife Park on BBC 2 last night wednesday 21st nov did'nt even know they had one it was very interesting

It's been there (Sparkwell) for many, many years although sold to new owners last year. I used to take the boys then when they were little.

I did a show there many years ago when I used to do Medieval
re-enactment. Though we didn't actually go ito the wildlife park a bit of it came out to us.
I remember this poor girl who was dying to tgo to the loo couldn't even get into the pub because of a huge 6' long snake wrapped around her neck until I said I would look after it - so after a quick speel on the snake she went off for half an hour and I was left with this charming python wrapping itself around me - I am sure the snake and I got on well with each other....

I just love snakes!

Though I am glad the wildlife park has survived - it very nearly didn't
