Santa..........

Why do we leave mince pies and sherry out for Santa? In 2006 there were 25.29 million households in Britain. Conservatively assume that 60% of those households each leaves out 2 mince pies and a glass of sherry. That means on Christmas Eve Santa eats 30,348,000 mince pies and drinks 15,174,000 glasses of sherry or 892,588.23 bottles. Don't you think he would die for a ham sandwich and a glass of milk and wouldn't the police love to catch up with him?

Better make that 30,347,998 mince pies Monkey. There is no chimney on my house. And after eating that many pies ... I doubt very much that Santa could fit through the cat flap

Never mind Santa, two more for me ... with extra clotted cream
