This has been recently been published in the latest update due to some sick morons out there

IMPORTANT INFORMATION. I have been informed that the Rangers from National Park have found that letterboxes that are sited close to Buckland Beacon have been vandalized with broken glass being put in the boxes and stamps stolen.
The National Park went up on Sunday 16th December and cleared as many as possible, however there are obviously a lot they could not find, or they did not know about.
So if you are out in the area please be CAREFUL and if you have a box sited around Buckland Beacon you may like to check it.
I am leaving this as a sticky notice for a while so that EVERYONE can read it

I wonder how the National Park found out about this? As I mentioned in another post on this forum - wide scale vandalism and thieving seems to be getting worse. I'd love to catch someone vandalising a box.

I would suspect a letterboxer reported it to them and with the letterbox club in a state of flux didn't know who else to report it to.

Who ever is doing this is sick in the head and needs help desperately

Fortunately our box on Buckland Beacon is OK. The clue for this was a Catalogue box with a 6 figure GR. Would be interesting to know which boxes have gone missing (Catalogue, WOMs, 10fig GRs).
