I have just started out with my Husband and Son doing letterboxing, the last time i went was when i was a child in 1996. I have an old clue catalogue i think it is 1994 or there abouts, is it worth me trying to use this one or will the boxes be gone now????

Welcome back! No, the old catalogue will be completely useless, although it might be useful for pinpointing popular siting areas if you were just to have a general hunt around. But a quick rummage through this site should provide just as useful general information.

I have to agree with that comment.
And I would recommend you wait until next spring before purchasing any catalogue because last autumn there was only a glorified update
I don't know if you are aware all the boxes listed in the catalogue have a "shelf life" of 5 years when they are either removed from their site or the clue is "renewed"
The idea of this was to reduce the size of clue book which was getting bigger and bigger and to cut back on costs

Thank you, i will until then i will just keep hunting and try and get my boys ( husband and son) closer to 100, its funny how when you stop and hide for a tinkle there is usally a box shreaking NO NO NO STOP just where you stop
