Possibly easier would be to follow the A38 to the Lee Mill turn off just past Ivybridge. From there, head for Tescos, then just follow the road. It will take you all the way to Lee Moor.

Details:
When coming off the A38 and on the Lee Mill slip road, turn right, (go under bridge), right at T-junction, and then next left after 100yds or so. Follow this road for several miles to Lee Moor (to ensure you are on the right road, you should pass through Cornwood). Lee Moor village will be on your right.

Your OL28 map shows the route. After the Lee Mill turn-off, you will basically be following the road that goes along the top of the "Industrial Estate" towards Cadleigh cross (the road naturally curves round at Cadleigh cross, it's not a junction).
