Hello everyone!
Thanks to everyone for their advice and replies! We've indeed contacted the person we need to and understand all that's involved (no publicity). Mum's the word!

A few years ago I was staying with friends in the New Forest and they had an extensive list of boxes throughout the forest. We spent an enjoyable day searching some out. And because of the geology of the Forest you really need the clues (no rocks!) as you'd never know they were there otherwise. Only problem being that the list seemed to have been distributed word of mouth - but ask around in the forest, there seemed to be plenty out there and people must know about it!

Thanks for this! We've emailed the Hampshire letterboxing guy and we're holding out hope that we can get a list soon! We've called the tourist and forest commission and everyone seems to be pointing us back to the same guy. Crossing our fingers!

Hoping to try the Stonehenge box tomorrow!

Best,
Mrs Grizwold :-)

Not distributed by word of mouth, slow mail. I understand one of the permission agreement with the Forestry Commission is NO PUBLICITY. hence why there is very little on the web.
