Whos been boxing tonight!!!

We have been out tonight and found some new boxes around the Owley bridge area - found an amo box that had clues in it for other boxes in the area about 6 in total!! so will go back with the siting compass!!

Its great to think that no matter how many times you go somewhere you will find boxes you have never found!!!

Yup, I went out this evening in the Yennadon area - a frequent haunt for walking my dog! Found one box by chance (a WOM by the looks of it), and found another box which I had already looked for twice before! So I'm happy

I didn't finish boxing until about 6.30p.m. Started about 10.30p.m. (see other thread - did the Cornwall Bridges walk - really enjoyed it but aching a bit now).

wow tina you started at 6.30pm from 10.30pm thats allot of hours on the moor!!!!!! how do you box in the dark?

Ha I thought I was mad boxing in the dark now that's hard core!!! go Tina!!!

Oh silly me, 10.30 a.m. of course ... lol

Boxing in the dark can be a little ... frought with danger perhaps.
Missing your footing etc - so not really recommended - But FUN!!!!

I found there was a completely different atmosphere when boxing at night, though fatigue can and does come up on you very quickly.... so my preferences is dawn boxing, getting out there just before the dawn and feel the energy of the new day.................. and for that the best day has to be June 21st and make a whole day of it

Ah. Well, yes and no It started off okay, but as soon as we got "on top" (without giving the game away and saying where exactly), we then headed off in another direction! By the time we got back we were a bit tired, and so went straight back to the car. So we have done half the stamps, but didn't do it as a full walk as such. If there's a good day (weather-wise) next week, then we'll go back and finish it off. No problem with the boxes or stamps we did, and I see no problem with anyone doing it as a specific walk.

No. If you mean the "Personalities" boxes as listed in the catalogue, then I tend not to do cryptic ones. If I had found it, it would only have been by chance!
