WOM

Many thanks to all who replied to my earlier posting, things now make a lot more sense. A month into this strange activity I'm beginning to build a collection of stamps and increasingly notice others behaving oddly on the moor: walking round in circles, suddenly diving under rocks, poking sticks into holes etc.

There is one thing I'm still confused about - what's a "WOM"? I've found a number of references to it in letterboxes and on this forum but I'm not sure what it means.

WOM = Word Of Mouth

Clues aren't published anywhere, you get them by talking to fellow Boxers.

If you find any wom stamps on the moor they might have on the box, this is part of a wom walk and then there might be a email address-telephone number ect. or walk up to letterboxers on the moor and have a chat with them.
