Completed Walks

I completed the Bygone Devon walk today. A really lovely walk in the Barn Hill/Feather Tor/Pew Tor area. No GPS just good old fashioned computer skills. Mine have obviously improved as I found every single box without any problems. Very good clues and bright sunshine helped mind you.

If anyone plans to do this walk, when you head for Box 3, walk around the leat to the other side, as it is that side that you need, and not the leat as soon as you reach it.

Enjoy it, as you won't be disappointed. A very good set of stamps to collect.

Drat, I did that one on the 9th! You're right, it was a nice walk. One I had no success with at all however was the latest Chicks walk over on Great Staple, even with a GPS I couldn't find many of the boxes. It was nice weather though so still pleasant pottering around the hillside.

We have done both of these, had a problem with no.1 on the bygone walk but after that we found them all, very nice walk on a sunny day..

I agree the GPS didn't help that much on the Chicks walk. However, I persevered and found them all, but some boxes took rather much longer than others.

I completed this walk today. All boxes on site and in good condition. A great collection of stamps to collect although you may get wet feet whilst completing this walk, so mind your step.
