Childrens boxes

Hi went letterboxing on Thursday went to haytor found two childrens boxes that looked like that had fallen out from in between a rock,so i replaced them the best way i could they were very near the edge of the tor hadn't got any stamps in only a soggy wet book i hope i did the right thing putting them back.

In future, if all that is in the box is a sodden book, probably best to take it home as unfortunately otherwise they just become "litter" boxes. Sad really.

If the box is intact then replace it, if the stamp is missing and not in the immediate area remove the box - if there is a book inside take it home and see if you can find out who the owner is... for return

If you cannot work out who it belongs to then the only place is the bin
