Hi all,

My wife and I are heading onto the moors today to go letterboxing for the first time. We have a little girl who is three. We are looking for advice on where to go? Looking for somewhere not to far from plymouth and with carparking near by.

We havent made it to any of the meets yet but will be attending the next one in Plymouth.

Kind Regards

Paul

Sorry Paul I didn't see this one earlier,

I would recommend parking up at Pork Hill (The car park south of Cox Tor where the Ice cream Van is) or going around to the back of Pew Tor and going from there.

I know everyone else will probably suggest Bonehill Rocks - but the reason I suggest Pew Tor is that there are dozens of boxes on the tor and they are "real boxes" I would be surprised if you find more than 10 but untilo you learn how the boxes are sited they will be harder to spot - once your three yeaol gets the hang of it - you will be running to keep up

HI, just thought id post as we also have a 3 yearold (boy) who loves our visits to the moor, we have just decided to go letter boxing and our going on our first trip tomorrow, however our son will not be coming as we will be going places unsuitable for him. we don't have any stamps yet but the funny thing is that our son has his first one! wish us luck.....

Once you get the hang of knowing what signs to look for, you'll have loads of stamps!!!

I'm about to introduce my 8 and 10 year olds to the hobby soon, i'm sure they will love it.

Happy boxing!!!
