Just thought we would say hi to you all. After stumbling across this web site me and my girlfriend are hooked :) Just in the process of buying some essentials then we are off, or would be if the rain held off.
Have a couple of questions ;
We found several boxes on and around pew tor but no names or numbers, do these still count toward our 100 and if so how are they varified.
Do you still go out in rain/bad weather or does this cause problems with wet boxes etc.
Thx for any help

Yes they do count just collect the stamp, and make a note of grid ref etc..
I go out in all weathers, but when it is wet I do keep the boxes dry, sometimes I take the stamp and do not stamp the boxes log, just to keep log from getting wet.
But beware Dartmoors weather changes very quickly.

Thx for the advice. Gained a few more stamps and have decided to go for the big one. After reading several posts here on Cranmere pool,and because of its historical placing, we are going to take the longer route from Fernworthy reservoir. We have mapped a route and plan to take a full day for the round trip. Hopefully our stamp will be in the book within the week (weather permitting :) )

Hi!
When you say 'I take the stamp...', you don't mean you 'take' the stamp - do you??!! Assume you mean you take an impression of the stamp.

Just wondering! :)

Sorry to keep asking questions but with regards to collecting the 100 boxes before the catalogue. Does this still aply or can you just order the catalogue? I ask because things seem to change regularly :)
