Getting the boots out ready...

I'm getting ready for the annual trip to the Broadleas Boys Brigade centre at Haytor next weekend. Looking forward to getting a couple of strolls in. Maybe Smallacombe Rocks and Hound Tor, or just up to Black Hill as I found some very nice stamps up there last year.

I've just worked something out. I don't know how it happened, but it's the middle of July and I haven't been boxing since Christmas. No wonder my feet are itching!

Well that was a damp squib... Damp being the word.
Managed to find a couple of boxes that I'd been wanting to get to for a while but all the grand plans came to a very soggy end.

Oh, and apologies to anyone who got held up by the broken down van between Bovey and the A38 yesterday afternoon. We had a very late evening...

Consequently, I made sure I took the opportunity for a stroll around Top Tor and Pil Tor on Sunday. Boxes were found. The weather was good. Happiness restored
