Combining 2-day hike, wild camping and letterboxing

Hello!

I'm coming to Dartmoor for the first time, and I don't know where to go! I want to do a 2-day hike, go wild camping and try out letter boxing. Would any one have a good itinerary to recommend? It does not have to be circular as I will not have a car.

I would, if in your position, find the bus route that goes around the moor and select a drop off point and then pick it up again later on - possibly starting at The Fox and Hounds and going upto Brat tor and picking up the bus again at Two Bridges.
But you will need to plan your route meticulously as it is a hard walk and plan for escape routes as you go. And let someone know your route and estimated times of arrival. Work on a 15 minutes per kilometer plus 2 minutes for every contour climbed!
