If anyone fancies a couple of fairly easy boxes very close to the car park at combestone tor...

From the far right hand corner of the car park as viewed from the road; head for the lifeless looking tree directly beyond the last rock as you look from left to right; our 1st box is 28 paces on 080;bonus box clues available inside this box.

Both of the above boxes are completely home-made and I'm not sure how good they will be after a few months on the moor, which is why details havn't been posted on the main catalogue, but if anyone is nearby and they can check up on them... (1st couple of stamps looked pretty good!!).

In short, the point of this post, by introduction is:
I was introduced to box hunting by my gran and (late) Grandad and my kids (aged 4 and 6) are developing a real passion for the moor and, the eldest in particular, letter boxing. If anyone could check on these before we can get down (October) i will be grateful.

Much love

Hi Part-timers;

I was passing that way today and had a quick look, and can reassure you that all is well and boxes/stamps in good condition. I would make one suggestion though; the bracken is dying back now and both of your boxes, especially the bonus one, are increasingly visible. You might want to resite somewhere a bit more discrete before the letterbox thief makes an appearance!

Thanks for that Duckpool

Will probably take down smaller containers to re-home stamps in. I remember thinking at the time that they were a bit big for the hiding place, however our stubborn little princess had decided on the location and there was no way that she was going to change her mind!

Thanks again
