Hi there folks.
I lived in Devon from 1982 to 1991, now living in Aus.
We visited the moors this (UK) summer and I took the family about some old climbing haunts. One of my favourite spots for "bouldering' was Bone Hill Rock, so we had to visit there. (Especially as its close to Hound Tor, and Alan's van!)
While I was climbing on the rocks, my wife and daughter strolled around. The daughter found a letterbox. Then another. Then the wife found one. I found one too, high in a crack on a climbing pitch.
Now I find this rather surprising as when I lived in Devon boxes were (as a general rule)
a) Hard to find.
b) More sparsely located.
Four easily found ones, we had no guide or maps, is a bit much for one small tor isn't it?
Any thoughts?
