I I'm new to letter boxing and my new wife introduced me to it about a month ago. Well I went out about a week ago and found a box that was intact but when I had a look inside i found the book ripped to peace's and no stamp. Is this kids of one sad person or just wear and tear over time ?
Kind Regards

Welcome to the forum hope you have a lot of fun and can get some useful info from the forum.... glad to have you along
As for your question... sadly a lot of damage is caused by hamfisted people who really don't look after what they find or as a result of getting wet in the past - in some cases it is the odd boxer who doesn't have anything to stamp on and will tear out a page to take a copy. There are a few boxers out there who will replace the book stick the stamp back on etc if they find a box in poor state of repair.... failing that report it to the 100 letterbox club that it is in a poor state or repair and the owner might get back to it and fix it
Ah ok thank you, since that is the case when i am up there next i will get the co-ordinates and send them to the 100.
Thankyou
