Hullo to you all, the readers of this forum.
It is the first time for me to write here but in the recent past I have made contact with one or two letterboxers with respect to my wife's uncle Mike Howard-- WOBBLY BOOTIE--.
My friend Wal Footrot wrote in this column in early October of his sad demise after a long battle with Motor Neurone Disease, for out-door people like ourselves a particularly sad and difficult disease to cope with.
Several people wrote very kind words in the column in response andMike was particularly grateful to all those who sent him Christmas wishes last year. However this letter is to see if there are any members who might be interested in some part of his library of Dartmoor books.
To start with I have around 40 issues of the CATALOGUE OF DARTMOOR LETTERBOXES the earliest from 1985 running up to 2005 seemingly without a break, including some catalogues of Travelling boxes.
Would you like to make me an offer for these if so e-mail teejaytoo@yahoo.co.uk will find me or use this page.
I am also in process of preparing a list of something like 100 books about Dartmoor. If you would be interested in a copy when available let me know.
