ICE on Monday 4th January 2010

Today I was up on Corn Ridge for a walk and the ice was great for Dartmoor. Never came accross any wet spots but plenty of ice.
It was lovely in the sum, but when I walked down into the valley it was cold. Cannot wait for some snow now. Anybody out come accross any interesting ice, or walked accross anywhere where we cannot normally walk. DO NOT WALK ACCROSS ANY MIRES OR LAKES.

Sadly can't get as far as the moors as the roads are just too icy for me to chance it. Did you do any letterboxing, if so were you able to get the boxes out of the froxen ground??? I know one boxer who had to pour her hot tea over the ground to soften it to get a box out?? Is that classed as desperate to get the box??????

I like to have a cup of weak black tea, so you better remember that if u ever see me. But it would be great to meet you all even without the tea.
