Hi, I'm wondering if anyone out there can help me.

I have never yet been letterboxing though my husband has been many times nd his parents still go regularly.

I am keen to get out there and have a go, however I have two little ones to take along and wondered if anyone knew of a walk suitable for young children?

any help would be greatly appreciated, I think they would walk for 2-3 miles if there were enough boxes to keep their attention!!

As you're in North Devon, a few suggestions for north side of the moor.
We have found 11 on a walk of about 2 miles pottering around Sourton Tor. similar number on both a 2 mile walk up toward Taw Marsh from Belstone and another trip around Watchet hill/ Belstone common. All found with a 4 yr old in tow. I'm sure there were more boxes we didn;t find, but 4 yr olds get bored of parents poking under rocks and want to climb and paddle as well.

I used to bribe my kids 10p for every box found - I think the highest I ever paid out was £1.70

Kinda hard to give clues as our best results are from the seek under rocks and see what you find method.

If you have a catalogue then... At Taw Marsh, right nest to Kierons Box is another box. Very close to Belstone Clanger we found another box. Close to Taw Marsh we found another box.

Ivy toor - in the skaigh valley near sticklepath, one box is listed and there is a WOM box and a geo cache hiden in other cranny's.

Sourton Tors. The rocky bits to teh right of teh path up from meldon to the tor have several boxes in, all WOM or charity walks.
