It is amazing the power Bill Gates has before Windows the clock changes used to be all over the place however, since the introduction of computers clock changes are now the last weekends of March and October.

Not that I have anything against charity boxes - but I think there are too many of them these days but having said that I hope the weather turns out nice again.

there is never too many charity walks, lol, gives us all a chance to get a few more boxes in the areas, and meet people doing the same walk.

Must try and get to the meet this time. Just HOW crowded is it?

The crowd depends upon one major factor... is it raining?
The rain will concentrate the number of people there to what can only be described as sardines

In the good ole days when the meet was at the Prison Officers club, you were packed in so tightly you couldn't even reach a table to get a stamp. You had to follow the crush around and pick up what you could reach!!!. Then the crowds seemed to ease off over at Lee Moor and this last Meet in March there seemed hardly anyone there. This was mainly because the room was so big, it was a nice day (until lunch time) and there was so much more to do in princetown. Don't be put off, children love to go to the meet and collect all the stamps on offer for the day.
Some pics for you to see for yourself

don't forget to give them an ink pad and a book or some cards and then they can collect the one day stamps around the place

would any body want to collect "his" personal stamp ? I guess we should take that too along with our book.

Sowerby Streaker

Yes, you must take his personal stamp along as when you get the official meet stamp, they keep a book on the table for everyone to stamp their personals in as a record of who went to the meet. Lots of people who sell walks also like to keep copies of personals of the people who bought their walks.
I've just realised that the photos of the meet I put on don't actually show any children around  Think they must have all been in the other rooms, so sorry about that.

I love the photos of the meet... it's funny how you get an impression in your head as to what it would look like.... and my impression was no where near the photos LOL!

I pictured a dark room with a few people looking shifty/secretive :D

Just wish i lived closer and was able to make it :(
