hi again is there any thread on here or a book you can get to explain the terms and words that you all use to describe certain things like "vcr"is that a video???and "wom" and many more.

If you put "abbreviations" in the search, it comes up with a couple of threads with some abbreviations in. Hope that helps a little.

But remember this we were once all there at one stage so to tell them that VCR is veg covered rock and WOM is Word of Mouth doesn't hurt to explain...
If someone wants to make up a glossary of letterbox terms we can stick it up somewhere

Glossary sounds a good idea as is anything that helps newcomers get started rather than us experienced boxers sounding like a clique

I think a glossary is a great idea - I would have assumed a vcr meant video too!
