Hi We're a letterboxing family from Hertfordshire who are visiting the moor over Oct half-term (24-29th Oct). Does anyone know of any new walks due to be out then as we've done all the spring charity walks and would like to get some more to do during our week.
Thanks

Hi,
There were 2 new walks advertised on the latest update sheets. One around Mel Tor, the other takes you from Princetown to Hart Tor and back.
Whether both walks are actually on site now I don't know, but the Mel Tor one states "clue sheets available from....." so one must assume it is out now. The Hart Tor one is awaiting permission from DNPA.
Neither walk show a contact telephone number.
Hope this helps a little.

Hi, these are the two walks advertised. I sent off for the Cheddar Lions one and the clues came back this morning - not impressed but will try and do it. No grids just follow on bearings from one box to the other - for instance "Box 3 head up to Mel Tor, follow round base of tor, then head up. Box S.E. of tor. Box 5 left of path close to gate??????? For anyone that knows Mel Tor, its very big and lots of large rocks - you could spend all day looking for one box. I will give it a try and let you know how I get on. I am thinking the box sites MUST be very clear for them to sell this walk. Details below
