Good morning all..
Just wanted to share our wonderful news with you all...
:D We have now found 100 boxes and i shall be sending off for our 100 club badge over the next few days :D

We have got over 170 imprints/stamps however some of these are childrens boxes and we decided not to include them in our quest to reach the 100 mark :?

So the question is once i have printed off my list, where and who do i send it to, how much is each badge and how can i pay :?:

Hi, well done - if you have a catalogue all the details of how to become a member and get your badge and also where to send the money is on Page 3. If you havn't got a catalogue  , you need to send your list of 100 boxes collected to Stephanie Paul, Lower Burrows, Shilstone Lane, Throwleigh, Okehampton EX 20 2HX plus £2.50 and a S.A.E.. She will also be on the top table at the 'Meet' next week-end at Lee Moor.

Note here... the catalogue is out of date unless you get all the updates from last spring or you can wait until the next spring meet (worth going to)

I would love to go to the meet but sadly i work in a school and the meet always seems to be held at the end of the half term  and i always have to be heading home before then. :(

Im hoping my Mum might pop along as she is only in Teignmouth. Im also after a wooden box to keep my cards in and to use whilst up on the moors...I remember reading somewhere that these too are also sold at the meet... if my mum doesn't make it next weekend... can i purchase them anywhere else. Ive searched online for wooden pencil cases but they are all too narrow.

Best wishes

Hi Emma, if your Mum can't make it, would you like me to get one for you and post it on? Not sure how much they are, but they are not very expensive and they are a 'must' when you are out boxing. Somewhere to keep clean cards - a nice firm base to stamp the stamp, then a slot into which you 'post' your stamped card to also keep that clean. I am sure the postage wouldn't be much. Let me know and I will see if I can help you out with it.

We used to letterbox many years ago and have just started again with our children, checked in the loft for the old box, couldn't find it so had a look at the Grasmere Gingerbread site for a wooden box, couldn't spot it though? Any ideas?

Are you saying that the catalogue that will be on sale at the Autumn meet will actually be the Spring one? I am sure they used to publish a new one every six months 'back in the day'!

Yes the catalogue is only produced once a year now in the Spring.

it isnt a letterboxing box, but the box fits the postcard size card in with no problem.

Planning on going to the Meet, so will see what is available there. But where is Lee Moor Village Hall? Is it easy to find, or will I need a clue and 10 fig GPS reference?

As you are located in Plymouth I presume you are familiar with Plympton. If you take the B3417 through Plympton up to Lee Moor when you reach the junction to the main road near Whitehill Tor, you go straight across and the village hall is on your LH side about 200 yards from the junction. Rough grid is 5716 6165

Thanks, for that. I must admit my reply was a bit tongue in cheek, knowing where Lee Moor is, I didn't think it would be that difficult to find the Village Hall!

Thanks for grid ref, I was wondering too. figured I would just arrive in Lee moor and look for lots of people and a village hall shaped building.
