It was sunny today and dry ( and cold) . Boy was not at preschool so we went up Belstone Common for a few hours boxing. What a nice day out. we had lunch under a lonely tree , and found one of the hospice care boundary stone boxes there too. tracked down one of Stephanies fantasy series and a curried letterbox , chanced upon a "haunts of Dartmoor " box is that a WOM series or a walk?? . Revisited a few old friends so boy could put his new stamp in their books and clambered on a lot of boulders. Bliss.

It was such a nice day today! Headed out to ingra tor to do the Inns and Inn signs charity walk this afternoon, Think we got to box - the box under the south side of the 8x2 block, Could not find it for the life of me, once we decided it was to move on, it was 1630! so headed back to the car and it started to rain :(

Another glorious day on the moor. Not so sunny this time. Snow on the ground, thin and icy at village level but up at teh moor gate it changed to powdery thick fluffy snow ( A FEW SNOW BALLS WERE THROWN) .

Number of letterboxes looked for 1. number found, zero. adventure had =YES.

Rather hard to find the rocks, never mind holes under them. We had a quick pacing and bearing checking session, but it was too cold to hang about hunting with a kid in tow. So we beat a retreat down teh hill back home for a cuppa. Saw tracks from pony, dog/ fox not sure which, rabbit and mouse like thing and had the hillside to our selfs.
