46449 - 46464 Woodland Fort Community Centre Diamond Jubilee Walk A walk of about 3.5 miles at the back of Cox Tor, a circular walk heading East, then North East to the back of Roos Tor, returning West to the starting point. The walk consists of 14 walk stamps, a starter and a thank you stamp. The stamps are based on the history of Woodland Fort where the Plymouth Get-together Letterbox group meet once a month (all welcome to come along). The walk will be on site from 25 March 2012 until 31 October 2012. 46484 - 46500 Cornish Authors. A walk consisting of 15 boxes, plus starter and thank you, in the Eylesburrow/Higher/Lower Hartor/Ditsworthy Warren area of the Moor. A pleasant stroll up to the mining ruins of Eylesburrow and then down through the valley to Ditsworthy Warren. An easy six mile circular walk with stunning views from Prewley Moor (plenty of parking), going South along the Western Slopes of Sourton Tors, across Lake Down and Coombe Down, round the Southern end of Great Nodden then North back to start. 12 boxes plus starter, for clues send SAE and cheque for £2.50 payable to ‘RNLI Tavistock Branch’ to; The Restells, The Coach House, Peter Tavy, Tavistock Devon, PL19 9NP. An easy family walk on the lower eastern slopes of Great Staple Tor, parking at Rees Jeffreys car park at 539 - 750. Out from 25th March to end October 2012. It is to raise funds to assist scouts to complete the Explorer Belt in Madagascar with South West Scouts. Cost £2.50, cheques payable to Gloucestershire County Scout Group. The walk follows around the Military Roads below West Mill Tor out to Sammy Arnolds lane and back below East Mill Tor starting at Row Tor CP , All boxes within 50p of track .This is done to avoid disturbing ground nesting birds. 46591- 46604 St Andrews Church Roof walk - a 5 mile walk on Cosdon Beacon, North Dartmoor. Cost £2.50 raising money to re-roof a Dartmoor church. 12 stamps on the moor and 2 thank you/ bonus stamps in buildings. The stamps include a 6 stamp jigsaw of St Andrews church and a number of
roof bosses and carving from St Andrews Church roof. Stamp sizes vary,
