Just back from doing today's Olympic walk - great stamps - thanks very much to the organisers - its just a shame that the weather can't be organised..
Now I'm dried out - just gotta dry out all the gear!!

Yes thanks Bev and co. Like everyone else who did the walk, drying everything out including the stamps on the radiators now. Such a shame the weather turned so nasty.

Decided after turning up for this event and after speaking to Bev & John we do this walk on Monday as the Forecast is looking better. It will be staying on site until Wednesday.

 Ha, nooooo just the one to dry everything out! Hung the wet weather gear out on th line, but decided not to hang each stamp out just in case they blew away   Now all I have to do is iron them

Good luck if you do the walk today, looks like it may be a better day for it. I would have chosen to do it another day had I known it would stay out, but after driving for over an hour, being stopped by the Police at road blocks (Rave in Bellever forest apparently), decided to walk it out. Good company, and nice to chat to everyone on the way around.

Have a good day - hope it stays dry for you.

 If only I was young enough Reg - stopping a grey haired ole lady in a 4 x 4 didn't really seem to be the type to go to a teenage Rave!! But then you know what they say about ole swingers

Completed this walk on Monday in dry and warm weather. Met up with Fishy Folk, Bowler & his Bird with Cornish Lady who also "cried" off on Sunday. With that amount of rain you would not see their tears anyway !!
Rambling Rabbits were also on the circuit but never met up with them.
