Hi there, a very warm welcome to our forum. So glad you are enjoying this hobby of ours. There are plenty of boxes out there to be found so keep searching. You will find on here lots of helpful hints on where to go and what to do, what to wear etcc - Lots of boxers on here are only to willing to help anyone just starting out, so don't be afraid to ask away. Keep us posted as to how you are doing. oh and Happy New Year.

thankyou for the warm welcome :D
I have found this forum very helpful so far. we bought the ol28 explorer map yesterday as recommended so for todays visit we went somewhere completely different that we havent been before. Its lovely to walk around and see all the lovely places and look for boxes too. my eldest boy (7yo) was so excited today wen he found one himself.
Happy new year to you too!

Hi little buuny!!
I have an almost 7 year old and an 8 year old nephew who love letter boxing (and a new 4 year old new recruit but she's still to be convinced lol). Where have you been on the moor? We were recently at saddle tor which is great for finding kids boxes, not so much right on the top of the tor (where the kids tend to head!) but round the edges a bit. If we have a day where we don't find any and the kids are disappointed we often go to one of the cafes or places that sell food/ice cream and they have some stamps (ie the cafes in Prince town or the Hound of the Basket meals at Hound Tor).
Have fun!!
