1st outing this year

Went out for my first walk of the new year today across to cramber and crazy well pool then followed the leat back to the car and on to princetown for a swift pint of tribute

only found 1 box but my god it's good to be back on the moors again must remember to get some fleece lined winter walking trousers for next time though as my legs got pretty cold in my summer ones

Hi bigdave. Have you found that ROVER P6 stamp on the side of Brat Tor yet?

No i have'nt been back out there yet must do at some point though as it's a nice area with some good views and more importantly has a nice pub to finish at for a beer

You didn't see a baldie bloke in a fetching powder blue top running with a collie along the leat did you?

I did see someone with a collie up on the main track i remember seing the dog and thinking he looked like he had found a soft bit in a bog and wallowed there a while
Don't remember what the owner looked like tho if you saw a 6'4 bloke wearing a hi vis jacket and a silly but warm bear hat that was me, if you did i apologise in advance it can't have been a majestic sight

Didn't spot a hi viz, but my dog is permanently caked in clarts so it may have been me. We were there round about the same time I reckon. There were 2/3 groups of 10 Tors kids heading down from Cramber to meet their trainer at the leat.

I'll keep an eye out for you next time I'm running down that way....
