Hi everyone!
Today was our first time at the meet & we really enjoyed it!
We joined the 100 club, yay! So we now have our 100 club badge and catalogue so there are many more boxes we can look for :)
It was lovely to meet you fellow letterboxers and Labradoodle scarlet also enjoyed meeting you & all the doggies 2.
Really glad we have taken up this great hobby :)

I was in there quite early to buy the walks and get out and do one of them. Lovely to meet Gary and Reg the Bullmastiff. What a beautiful dog he is - so sad to hear that his cancer has returned. My thoughts are with you Gary when you go to the vets with him this week. Good luck.

I went on to do the Woodside Animal walk out from Gutter tor. Very hard going with sleet driving into my face most of the way around. Nice set of stamps but they were a little difficult to find. Some GPS's were way out, so was really pleased to find the boxes using a compass again.

scottyplym- it really is! we got so many stamps today. It was good getting some traveller stamps and the ones dotted around outside :)

sowerby streaker- we got up there at about 12. We met gary and reg the bullmastiff, such a lovely dog! we were sad to hear that too. my scarlet puppy likes reg, she was having a good bark at him,was so funny. shes so small in comparison :D
We are going to be sending off for that walk (we ran out of money to get it today lol) and were pointed to Mo (i think she was called?) who is going to be making stamps, wich is great a we dont have a personal stamp yet. gotta get designing :)

It felt like a good meet. Nice to meet people again. Thank you to all the kind grown up boxers who were so nice about sharing stamps with my lad (Mr Clever eyes, stripey red n black top), he was also rather chuffed to meet some other kids with their own stamps - Oggwell oddbods, Gr**** the treasure hunter and the lone wolf cub.

THANK YOU to all the people at the meet who supported the Margaret Green Animal Rescue by purchasing their walk. The grand sum of £225.00 was reached. So THANK YOU ALL! The money will be put to good use supporting all the animals that have fallen on hard times and have been rescued prior to finding loving "forever homes"

It was great to meet at last the Sowerby Streaker, the Kenton Kestrel, littlebunny1 and the Ogwell Oddbods, to name but a few. All that I need to do now is meet, Nik-KOTM whoisthechallenger and bog_baby and I have the "SET?"

Still for all those unlucky enough to miss the meet yet not wanting to miss out on the charity walk in support of such a worthwhile cause send a cheque for £2.50 made payable to Margaret Green Animal Rescue, and sent to.

Include a SAE and the wonderful people there will pop one in the post to you. There are 20 stamps out on the moor plus a starter you will get with the clue sheet. not bad hu? The walk is around 4k's and skirts the East side of the river Lyd to the foot of Great Nodden then along the west ridge of Arms Tor past Widgery Cross down the South slope of Brat Tor and back to the river Lyd. Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezey?

Best Regards to all.... Reg the BULLMASTIFF

It was our first meet too and it was really nice to finally put faces to peoples' stamps we've seen on the moor. Suprised how busy it was but great to see so many people still interested. Thanks to all who accommodated our girls and their 'stamp swopping'! Now can we please have some sunshine so we can get out and enjoy some of these walks we've bought as today on the moor was bl**dy freezing! :)

Hi Littlebunny1 - welcome !
and Ogwell Oddbods too - we met you at the RNLI walk table :)

We did really well too yesterday, thank you everyone who bought our clues!

It was absolutely freezing out on the moor today, frozen puddles, solid mud and snow blowing in the bitter wind. Roll on summer :P

See you all out there soon I hope.

Parkhill Plodders - we were on Brent moor/Eastern White Barrow, everything still frozen solid on top and blowing a gale but checked our box so don't have to treck up there again too soon. :)
