Been a little busy recently, so have gotten a little behind my posts on tors and letter boxing sites. On the 24th may, Ant and I visited Laughter Tor in the morning.
Starting at 9am, we gave ourselves three hours on and around the Tor. The day started with rain and fierce winds, but after 20 mins it was perfect boxing conditions.
There is much goarse and prickly bushes at and around Laughter Tor, so there were vast areas where you could not get too. The climb to the top of the Tor is pleasant and the views fantastic. Bellever Tor looks fantastic from Laughter Tor.
In 3 hours we found just 7 boxes. It was a hard slog just to find 7, two other side of the gate were worth the walk alone. There was a cracking imprint of a Dartmoor Farms-Laughter Hole box and one of Snaily House.
This walk would be good to do with Bellever in one day, that way you can hit double figures, have a cracking walk and chalk offs two tors.
