First thoughts were Bench Tor, but I wouldn't put money on it.

Thought for a moment it was Birch Tor

I think it is Sharp Tor looking across the Double Dart Gorge, with Venford Reservoir just peeping through the trees in the distance.

Ummm yes think you may be in the right area, but I would say its more likely to be Mel Tor overlooking the Dart. Mainly because of the muddy narrow track. This could be the track by the wall as you go down from Bel Tor Car Park to Mel Tor. The road would then be the one by the car Park going over towards Sharp tor. Don't suppose we can find out for certain though

Mel tor sounds like a good bet for the tor (with a glimpse of Dr Blackall's Drive in the background as they come down off the tor?). The panning shot at the beginning looks spot on for the image in this link: http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2215767, including the outcrop in the foreground and block of trees around Venford on the far hillside.
