Missing boxes

Went out today from nuns cross farm, headed out over hand hill to crane hill then on to ducks pool. After a short lunch headed to fox tor and back to car above nuns cross. Although I got 8 boxes from my enjoyable walk I did find boxes missing mainly W.O.M. On fox tor did not find 1. Although I did find two metal ammo boxes , one was empty and one had a geocache.
Has anybody else had an issue in this area?????????

Hi not been over that way for a while, but I also did find a number of boxes missing around Fox tor. I am all plotted up for a trip to Ducks Pool and wonder how many on my list will no longer be there :(

Getting difficult to find anyone these days with Tanda stamps stopping and now Adrian at Devon stamps has stopped making them as well. You could try www.Dimensionstamps.com they are very good. I believe the Wildlife charity walk stamps were made by them. They charge £25 for A4 inc p&p or £15 for A5 . Hope this helps.

Thank you for your information regarding stamps. Will try them. Have spoke to a company in Birmingham , they will get back to me on prices.

Having used these earlier in the year for making up some stamps for me cannt recommend them enough. Fast service, great customer service and good quality stamps - although you cannt bet a hand cut stamp!
Cannt comment on durability on the moors as unfortuantly not had time to site the stamps they made as yet but when i need some more will definatly use them again.

Hi there. I had a couple of letterbox stamps made by a chap called Paul Hopkinson. He is a local Devon artist and his website www.devonartist.co.uk gives details. The stamps were brilliant, hand made, and very reasonably priced. Can recommend.

Paul doesn't cut multiple stamps anymore as he is concentrating on his water colour paintings. His cutting was supherb and he cut a couple of my personal stamps for me. Worth asking though

Without repeating what has already been said pauls quality of stamps are hard to beat. Hecut our personal stamp and will last and of the highest quality and was able to advise me on the design from start to finish as it was the first we we design. In fact would go as far to saythat would bein 2 minds on weatjer would wamta stamp of that quality being left on the moors with the chance of going missing. As sowerby says worth a shout.

Hi sowerby streaker, have got my stamps back and I'm very impressed. Now got to sort them out and hide them. I take it I can count them on my collection?
