I see.... you have encountered a cryptic clue... the answer to that is to WORK IT OUT!

There is supposed to be enough information there to solve it... however there are a few boxes out there that have never been found or are almost impossible to find

Hey Tony, don't worry mate, I am completely hopeless when it's comes to working out such clues. So don't worry, your not the only one. :)

Don't find a new hobby, this one is one that none of us should ever give up!

Have a good Christmas,
Dizzy

I will let you on to a little secret, and btw - sorry for yelling, I am worse than hopeless at solving those clues too.
But, with combined effort all the cryptic clues can be solved.

Years ago I used to to give Dennis the Menace a hand with solving the clues (he was good at doing that, but not the best), and they were put into a cryptic clue catalogue solution book (no longer available).
But I reckon between us all we could probably solve a fair few of them.

But then - since the advent of the GPS some of the clues have become a bit weird

Hi all was only joking when i said i better give boxing up  .I have been in to Plymouth today and bought a book with some very wellcome book vouchers i had for an xmas pressy. The book is called Thurlows Dartmoor Companion i am hoping this will give me some help towards the clues given in the catalouge. I wonder if anyone uses this book to site there boxes.

A HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL
