Has anyone completed the Cornish Mines walk?

Was thinking of doing the Cornish Mines charity walk which I bought at the Letterboxing meet starting at Dartmeet (I think its about 6km). Has anyone recently done this walk or know of anyone that has done it? I want to get out and do it this weekend weather permitting. I was hoping that it was all still there.
Did the Happy Landings charity walk last Sunday and all the stamps were there (a few missing but pots still there with scanned image on a piece of paper) this is a realy fun and easy walk to do.
So Cornish Mines walk....what did anyone think of it? Thanks for the help.

I've got the details of the Happy Landings charity walk which I'm going to try at the weekend. The owners of the boxes advised some had been stolen but they had put scanned images in - just hope there's a few left when I go out on Saturday. Haven't tried the other walk though. Good luck with it.

According to the clue sheet the Cornish Mines walk starts on Yartor Down - the car park being on the LHS of the road if you are coming from Ashburton. As for whether all the boxes are there try phoning the walk owners a couple of days beforehand and they can tell you.
We too may be doing it this weekend so maybe we will see you out there.

That's bad luck for the Happy Landings people - Jasper and I went to do their walk last year and every SINGLE box had been pinched.

Vandals, eh? Jasper loves 'em. With a nice piece of cheese.

Did Happy Landings this afternoon..................in the mizzly, drizzly, sleety, misty, hazy rain. Boxes 5 & 6 had photocopied stamps (4 left in each), Boxes 16 & 20 have been stolen. The other 14 are intact. Perservere with the ones in the gorse roots, they are there! Good quality stamps too. Stumbled across another 9 in the area of the walk.

I'm trying this walk on Saturday. Hope there spare copies are still available when I visit. Although if not, it's not the end of the world. Hope I can also find a few extras.

I've now collected my first 500 stamps so have sent off for a badge. On to the next 500 now. Made a good start today - collected 15: 8 from the Chicks walk (could find the others - got a bit muddled with my route  ) and 7 by scavenging.

Hoping to have an even better weekend.
