Go to :
www.bbc.co.uk/devon/weather
then click on the webcams option from the menu. Gives you a view looking up over the moor from Powder Mills. Handy when you are debating what it is like up there.

Hey im new here my real name is nathan im only 15 but i still enjoy going to dartmooor quite often with my dad. im am an ex-member of the scouts so i cam here to introduce my slef because ive found some more webcams:

To be honest me and my dad dont get chance to get up there much so we have only found 3 or 4 up at Pew Tor that was our first walk, we are goin up there again next weekend for the 8 Across 2 Down charity walk, Any one else turning up at that event?

Sounds interesting Nathan. However, as I tend to go out on my own, I won't be able to do it this time.

Maybe another time I can persuade my son and his friend to go with me, then we can park cars at both ends.

Did the Twelve across, Two down walk several years ago and can recommend. Have done the Moonlight Madness walk three times and can highly recommend - and this year it will be going round the easier way.
