Turning over a rock

Here is a question for you all...

If you are looking for a box and you turn over a rock do you put the rock back where it came from?
Or you see a spot where some other person has turned over a rock and left it - would you put the rock back?

I do whenever I can - but occasionally the rock is totally missing

I usually do yes, just to keep things tidy.

I do the same thing as well, I suppose it's because we all love the moors so much, we do our best to keep it as it should be, untouched.

Yes I try my best to put the rocks back, sometimes if there are several smaller rocks it may take me a while to interlock them so that the box is not visible, then her in doors will chirp up 'it wasnt like that when I found it'

What I really hate is those boxes that are behind a rock that is too big. if it falls the wrong way or it slips something is going to get broken like my fingers or toes, caught a few fingers between rocks in my time.

Ban big rocks!

There were quite a few "big" rocks around North Hessary on Sunday - they are so heavy to move and even harder to put back.

I always put them back. Partly, like Fulchet, to keep things tidy but mainly because I had a teacher at school who was obsessed (to an almost perverted degree) with insects and drummed into us that we must always replace rocks to protect the insects dwelling beneath...

I think most of my ex-boyfriends came out from under rocks. Possibly even the same rock.
