Hi every body, back safe and sound with weeks and weeks of leave. Went up Legis tour today and found three boxes destroyed. Not a good start.

Oh BTW - did you know that Afghanistan has never been successfully occupied by any foreign force? Britain failed back i the 18th century the ruskies failed - so why are we back there? Doesn't anyone learn from history?
I want to see the boys brought back home TODAY! Not tomorrow not next week or next year - but today.... ok rant over!

hey you, as long as you don't hold it on my beaches here in Torbay, I'm the local Park Ranger. Mind you, bribe me with a travelling stamp and I might turn a blind eye.

Beach party. a grand idea. We could do a travel stamp special.

Now, if there WAS to be a beach party, Jasper and I may well make the pilgrimage from Hampshire.... with a couple of crates of Hampshire beer

Did someone mention beer - it would be worth migrating from the smoke for that

Mmmmm... lovely cool beer, made with fresh barley and hops and crystal clear Hampshire chalk-spring water, brewed in my local barns... the scent of a barbecue on the air... an impromptu game of cricket or rounders on the sands... then swapping letterboxing anecdotes as the sun sets after a perfect evening.... :D

... before we all get dysentry 'cause Wires, Tina and Ferret undercooked the burgers! Race you to the stomach pump!!

Love the sound of a barbecue on the beach. However, Roo, there is no danger of getting dysentry from me cooking the burgers, lol, 'cause I always leave that lovely job to the guys

OK, so missing the moor isn't bad enough for a grockle. Now we have to endure the thought of missing out on the social event of the year.
-sigh-
Welcome back Ferret :D
