Thanks for all the clues sent to us (1) unfortunately due to finding too many boxes on one day! (51) the 1000th box was Lady bug out of the catalogue.

Completed 3 Charity walks, glad we split the Mercy ships walk into two walks and did them on different days,

Came face to face with our first range pole! and empty blank bullets on and off the range in that area(GMT)

Dizzy we found your box and it was intact with Lucys near by.

In total we found 209 boxes in two weeks (8 walks)

Spotted some great wildlife on the moor Sheep, cows, ponies, lizards, 2 frogs and a dear, and an archeologist but thats another story

Well done Number 70 - a great achievement.

I only need another 254 to find my 1000th. However, I don't think I will get them as quickly as you, but just goes to show.

I normally aim to try and get 10 on each outing, and if I get anymore it's a bonus. If I don't quite make it, then I enjoy the walk anyway.

Here's to the next 1000. 8)

Well Done! number 70,
We have just returned from Dartmoor after a great holiday and we have now passed 500 (new badge will be here soon). Our 500th was a plain bought stamp by the Raleigh Ramblers also unregistered, still who cares we made the 500 target with a day of our holidays to go.
We bumped into Slow and Steady on the Devon Air Ambulance walk and incredibly met Mr Cock and Mrs Chicken on a very misty Saturday while doing the Mercy ships walk. This adds to the coincidence of finding their moving box into different places on two different holidays. It's a small world!
On returning home our first to find in our new Anniversary box had beat us back and it had been found by Dartmoor Jedi

Pleased to hear you had such a successful holiday in Dartmoor Jones Family. Well done on reaching your 500th. Only another 500 and you'll be at your 1000 ... lol.
