As part of a Duke of Edinburgh Expedition (bristol university) on Dartmoor in June 2007 we placed 5 letterboxes out on the moor. They will be registered very shortly and will therefore appear in future books and the updates. Their clues are as follows:
MELLECKS Squad DofE 1 - Tent

Box behind stones in heather/grass mound, (half moon shape.) From cross walk 64 paces on 64o. Combehead Tor 196 o
MELLECKS Squad DofE 2 - Raven
GR 637 651
Box under a rock behind stone in north side bank of shallow gulley, opposite half moon shape erosion which is on other side of the gulley. Box is 20 paces uphill from stream.
MELLECKS Squad DofE 3 - Wild Bore
GR 651 659
From brick hut walk 20 paces on 145 o . From wooden post walk 24 paces on 174 o. Triangular peak of quarry works 330o. TV mast 312 o. Box behind stones in grass.

From lone tree at top of gulley walk 30 paces on 74o. Box behind stone under heather. Centre of Venford Reservoir 30 o. Boundary Stone 90 o.
MELLECKS Squad DofE 5 - Sheep

Box under pile of stones 3 paces from 3ft by 2.5ft trapezium rock. TV mast 308o. Cross 95 o (and 45 paces away.) House at Whiteworks 280 o.
