Hi, we went on our first letterboxing trip today (17th April 2011), thought we would start at Haytor. Found our very first box Exeter Boghoppers Box! We then found Penguin of the Moor but unfortuantely the box has a crack in it and the book was absolutely saturated, not even able to open it to get contact information. We did replace it back in box (wasn't sure what to do first timer)!

We also went to find Susan's Sunshine stamp but couldn't find it, presumably it is still there but we will keep looking although I'm sure we looked everywhere possible on the West side!!!

We had a great few hours, our teenage children were not impressed to start with but we are slowly convincing them!! Definately going back for more!

Hi
I think the last update for the Letterboxing Catalogue mentioned about Penguin on the Moor being saturated and the box lid cracked. If you find any problems with any box's and as in this case you can't find any contact information you should e mail Angela Allderidge who produces the monthly updates on m.allderidge@btinternet.com This only applies to registered letterbox's.
Glad you enjoyed your first outing, we have only been doing it since November last year and definetly have the bug.
